Idi Muzhakkam: Seenu Ramasamy’s next with GV Prakash Kumar nears completion

The upcoming GV Prakash Kumar starrer Idi Muzhakkam. is done with its preliminary shoot. Seenu Ramasamy, the director of the film, took to social media to inform the same and has begun prepping up for its final schedule. He also praised the actor’s performance while reviewing the overall footage and hoped that he would garner awards and appreciation for his acting.

GV Prakash expressed his gratitude towards the director by replying to the latter’s tweet message. Idi Muzhakkam stars GV Prakash Kumar and Gayathrie Shankar in lead roles. The latter had earlier worked with the director in the Vijay Sethupathi starrer, Maamanithan. The movie also features Aruldoss and Sounder in prominent roles.

The plot revolves around incidents in the vicinity of Madurai. GV Prakash Kumar will be portraying the role of a meat shop owner in a rural area, while Gayathrie will be appearing as a nurse in the movie. GV Prakash will be donning three different looks in the movie. The filming of Idi Muzhakkam had started in Theni and later around the areas of Kodai.

The film’s team comprises Kalaimagan Mubarak of Skyman Films, composer NR Raghunathan, editor Sangathamizhan and art director Premkumar among others. Vairamuthu will be penning the lyrics for the album, with Sid Sriram and Vineeth Sreenivasan lending their voice for one of the songs in it.
