The teaser of 'Aaya Ye Jhund Hai', the first song from Amitabh Bachchan's sports drama Jhund was unveiled today. According to the 20 second-long clip, the full song will be out on February 14.
The brief video just features a motley crew of children and adults, the "jhund", walking with bats, hockey sticks and even a metal bar. In the background plays the chorus vocals from the song.
Ajay Gogavale is the singer and he's joined by Jay and Mallhar Sarja. 'Aaya Ye Jhund Hai' is composed by National Award-winning duo Ajay-Atul, who have previously worked with director Nagraj Manjule in films like Fandry and Sairat. Amitabh Bhattacharya is the lyricist.
Bachchan shared a poster along with the song's release date on Twitter as well. "Baaqi sab fail hai, aisa ghazab inka khel hai," he wrote.

Jhund is Manjule's Hindi directorial debut and will follow Bachchan as Vijay Barse, a Nagpur-based retired sports teacher who coaches a slum soccer team. Barse is the founder of Slum Soccer, an organisation that encourages underprivileged children to take up the sport.
The sports film was slated to be out in cinemas in 2020 and then pushed to June 2021 due to the pandemic.
Bhushan Kumar is producing along with Krishan Kumar, Raaj Hiremath, Savita Raj Hiremath, Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni and Meenu Aroraa the banner of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment and Aatpat.
Jhund will now be released in cinemas on March 4.
