Web series are giving great competition to the films. Now, a set of viewers prefer watching web series on a digital streamer, rather than going to theatres to watch films.

Leading OTT platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Zee5 and others have been releasing some of the great web shows and gathering immense appreciation as well as viewership.

Here is a curated list of web series that ought to be streamed this month on these major OTT platforms:

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 (Netflix)

Seven adopted supernatural kids find themselves trapped together in a time loop and learn a great but harsh truth about their adopted father.

Avrodh 2 (SonyLIV)

The enemy plans to destroy our country, while the Indian soldiers plan to sabotage the ultimate siege and save the nation.

Only Murders in the Building Season 2 (Disney+ Hotstar)

Charles, Oliver and Mabel, three residents of a building come across a dead man in the same construction and find themselves in a dilemma of saving themselves from being falsely accused or investigating the case. The upcoming season drops on June 28.

She Season 2 (Netflix)

Aaditi Pohankar starrer She season 2 revolves around a senior constable, Bhumi, who goes back to work as an undercover officer to nab a high-profile criminal.

Suzhal – The Vortex (Amazon Prime Video)

The investigative crime-thriller series follows the story of a woman, who finds herself tangled in something unknown amid finding her missing young sister.

The Offer (Voot)

The biographical drama series follows the true story behind the making of Coppola's 1972 masterpiece The Godfather and the hurdles that makers faced in the process.

Masoom (Disney+ Hotstar)

The story follows the death of a middle aged woman in the village on Punjab that leaves her daughter shattered, who doubts her father to be the murderer and tries to investigate the truth behind everything. 

Ms Marvel (Disney+ Hotstar)

The MCU series follows the story of a teenage girl, who is a die-hard Avenger fan and follows the footsteps of Captain Marvel. She suddenly gains power through her grandmother's ancient bracelet and goes on to become a superhero herself. 

God's Favourite Idiot (Netflix)

The story revolves around a man, who gets Hod's special blessing that makes him glow at any moment of the day, meanwhile, he gets informed that he has been chosen for something big.

Code M season 2 (Voot)

The action-thriller series follows the story of an Army lawyer tangled between truth and lies in a sensitive case related to a martyred army officer. Code M season 2 stars Jennifer Winget and Tanuj Virwani in lead roles.

The Broken News (ZEE5)

The Broken News revolves around the world of journalists and news representatives and unveils the truth behind the screens of news channels and their 'breaking news'. The series, which stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Sonali Bendre, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Indraneil Sengupta, Taaruk Raina, Aakash Khurana and Kiran Kumar, is an Indian adaptation of the popular British series Press.

Salt City (Sony LIV)

The upcoming web series follows the tale of a dysfunctional family dealing with their daily life issues and broken relationships inside a small home in Mumbai. Salt City, which features Piyush Mishra, Divyenndu, Gauahar Khan, Pranay Pachauri, Rahul Tomar and Nivedita Bhattacharya in key roles, is set to release on June 16.
