Lokesh Kanagaraj's action flick Vikram is gearing up for a huge theatrical release in multiple languages on June 3. The Kamal Haasan-starrer features Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Narain and Shivani Narayanan in crucial characters. Anirudh Ravichander has composed music for the film which marks Kamal's return to the silver screen after almost four years.

Fans of Kamal were surprised when popular actor-host Kapil Sharma posted a picture from his social media page which has him posing for a couple of photos along with the latter. All praise for the veteran actor-filmmaker, Kapil said that he had a whale of a time with Kamal and thanked him for gracing The Kapil Sharma Show.

He tweeted, "When your dream comes true. wonderful time spent with the legend of our film industry Mr @ikamalhaasan. what an actor n what a great human being. Thank you for gracing our show sir. best wishes for #vikram love n regards always (sic)."

In his reply, Kamal said that he thoroughly enjoyed the show and said that Kapil has a great team with great talents. He expressed interest to meet him and his team again for another episode. Kamal is perhaps the first male actor from Kollywood to have participated in The Kapil Sharma Show.

Udhayanidhi has bagged the theatrical rights of Vikram in Tamil Nadu, and hence the film is expected to have a mammoth release in the state. The trade is looking forward to seeing if the number of theatres for Vikram can surpass Valimai and Beast, two big ticket flicks which released earlier this year.

The movie is produced by Kamal himself under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International. It was announced a few days ago that the film will drop on Disney+ Hotstar post its theatrical release.
