Much to the excitement of Marvel fans, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 started streaming on Disney+ Hotstar earlier this month. Written and directed by James Gunn, the superhero film is inspired by the Marvel Comics superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy. Sharing his excitement about the release of the movie, actor Karan Kundrra recently revealed that he is a huge fan of Robert Downey Jr.

“I am an absolute Marvel fan, because of the way they’ve created all the timelines and the intricacies between all the characters, and how they’ve also managed to combine all these stories and give them a proper relevant backstory,” said the television actor and reality TV star.

Speaking about his favourite superhero, Karan said, “My favourite character is obviously absolutely Thor. In fact, there’s a conflict between Iron Man and Thor. But the actor whom I want to meet is obviously Robert Downey Jr. And I would like to meet Thor as well. He’s Punjabi for me. He’s strong and has long hair.” Adding to that, that actor said that it was after Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man that he came back to Marvel comics.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) and Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). The movie’s ensemble cast includes actors Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Will Poulter, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Linda Cardellini, Nathan Fillion and Sylvester Stallone.

Cut to the latest update from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the release date of a new special for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has been confirmed. The assembled behind-the-scenes special for the movie slated to drop on Disney+ on September 13. It will be called Marvel Studios’ Assembled: The Making of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
