Kartik Aaryan reveals the REAL reason he visited Kolkata post Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 release

Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu-starrer horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been raking in the moolah across the country. Meanwhile, the actor came to Kolkata on Saturday to promote his film. The actor stayed at a luxury hotel at Newton-Rajarhat.

According to our sources, he enjoyed roshogolla. Later, he was seen posing in a yellow taxi near the hotel and Howrah Bridge. He was spotted entering the hotel in a red hoodie. However, he met the photojournalists in jeans, a white T-shirt and a charcoal jacket.

While meeting the media, the actor tried Bengali. “Ami Khub bhalobashi. I’m very happy to be there. I come to Kolkata often — sometimes to promote my films and sometimes to meet my friends. But this time so many people have requested me and my team that I had to come. The kind of response that we got for the film is outstanding.

As per the reports, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is all set to cross the Rs 100 crore mark on Saturday. “As we are talking, somewhere some ticket window is probably selling the ticket to cross the Rs 100 crore threshold. We all are super excited about it. The numbers are good and we also got a good critical response. Everybody is expecting something big to happen this weekend,” he said.

Meanwhile, Kartik also emphasised that he loves meeting common people. “There was a time when I was a fan and I used to be starstruck too when I was young. Now when I stand on the other side of the line, I find I can connect with my audience more. I can relate to them more easily. I love to meet people and go for promotions. For two years, we could not step out and meet people. Now we have that chance and I am going out for promotions as much as possible,” he said.
