Kartik Aaryan wishes to portray Virat Kohli in a sports biopic

The actor is gearing up for his upcoming films including Shehzada, Freddy and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Kartik Aaryan was last seen in the Netflix original film Dhamaka and gathered a lot of applause and appreciation for the film and his character. The actor has been seen portraying versatile roles in his films. Meanwhile, recently in an interview, the actor mentioned that he would love to do a biopic on cricketer Virat Kohli. 

Sports-drama or sports-biopics have been some of the much-loved genres of India. From cult films like Chakde India, Dangal to the recently released films like 83 and Saina, the movie-buffs love to watch films based on sports.

Fan’s are appreciating the actor’s thought on essaying the role of the former captain of the Indian ODI cricket team. Meanwhile, Kohli’s real-life wife, the Bollywood leading actress Anushka Sharma is also making her comeback on the screen after three years with a sports biopic based on the former captain of the Indian women’s cricket team Jhulan Goswami. The forthcoming sports-drama film has been titled Chakda Xpress.

After gathering praises for the portrayal of Arjun Pathak in Dhamaka alongside Mrunal Thakur and Amruta Subhash, the actor is gearing up for a long list of films in 2022 including, Shehzada, which has been said to be an action film and the actor will be seen doing a lot of stunts opposite Kriti Sanon. Apart from Freddy with Alaya F, the young actor also has Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in the pipeline that also marks his collaboration with Tabu and Kiara Advani. Captain India along with Sajid Nadiadwala's untitled project is in his kitty as well.
