KBC 14: Shark Tank India’s Aman Gupta gets mentioned on Amitabh Bachchan’s show; see former’s delightful reaction

With his charm, witticisms and impeccable business savvy, Aman Gupta went on to become a favourite among Shark Tank India fans. The CMO and co-founder of boAt also routinely gives fans a peek into his fun side through his social media as well. He won hearts with some of his posts where he displays his unapologetic love for all things Bollywood, sometimes even channeling his inner Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn to give fans a treat. Aman recently took to social media to share a delightful moment where his name popped up on one of the most popular quiz shows on Indian television- Kaun Banega Crorepati 14.

The businessman’s name figured in a question on the show that went “boAt, a company co-founded by Aman Gupta and Sameer Mehta, sells which of these products?” with the options being boats, cupboards, headphones and cars. Aman shared a screengrab of the moment on the show, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. Being the Bollywood fan that he is, Aman made sure to pay tribute to Big B in the post’s caption, with an iconic line from the veteran actor’s 1975 film Deewar. Aman captioned his post “Aaj khush toh boAt hoge tum, Hainnn. Proud to see entrepreneurs and startups as General Knowledge questions”.

Aman’s co-shark on Shark Tank India, BharatPe founder Ashneer Grover, also expressed his delight on the post, commenting ‘Superb’. Comedian Tanmay Bhat also commented on the post with a witty remark, saying “Eveybody knows the answer is cupboardsw”.

On the first season of Shark Tank India, Aman and Ashneer were joined by Shaadi.com founder and CEO Anupam Mittal, Lenskart co-founder and CEO Peyush Bansal, Emcure Pharmaceuticals executive director Namita Thapar, SUGAR Cosmetics co-founder and CEO Vineeta Singh and MamaEarth co-founder Ghazal Alagh as judges.
