From her latest horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kartik Aaryan to comedy-drama Good Newwz and now Jugjugg Jeeyo, Kiara Advani has seen success in many films with an ensemble cast. Refuting the idea of being overshadowed by others, the actress said that an ensemble cast helps an actor to shine brighter. The actress was in Kolkata with Varun Dhawan on Tuesday when she met the press and talked about the films that feature several stars, besides her.

“Ensemble cast holds you up as an actor, especially when you work with great actors,” Kiara told OTTplay. Explaining her point, she said an actor tends to bounce off and bring the same level of energy as their co-actors. That results in a better scene she feels. Besides Varun, Kiara will also share the screen with Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.

According to the actress, this phenomenon works more in the case of comedy. Kiara said that a comedy scene may fall flat if the reaction of the co-actor is not on time or point. “There is a lot of give-and-take in acting,” the actress pointed out.

Talking about her tryst with an ensemble cast Kiara said in all the films, she received love from the audience and hence she doesn’t shy away from films with an ensemble cast. “I have never really been overshadowed,” she said. Talking about Jugjugg Jeeyo, she said that she will be seen with a host of great actors and as a result, she feels she would bring more to the table.

Kiara Advani debuted in Bollywood with Fugly in 2014. In 2016, she played the wife of MS Dhoni in the sports biopic, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. The actress was later spotted by Karan Johar and her tryst with Dharma Production began with Lust Stories in which KJo directed her in one of the anthologies. She has worked in several films under Dharma’s banner.
