Kit Harington is currently gearing up for the release of his soon-to-be-released MCU film Eternals. In the superhero film, the actor plays the role of Dane Whitman. However, the actor is still remembered for his iconic role in Game of Thrones as Jon Snow. Now, during an interaction, Kit was asked about the prequel series House of the Dragon of which the trailer was unveiled a few weeks back.

As per reports in Variety, the actor stated, "Do you know what, probably quite a lot of emotions." Kit also said that he is looking forward to the series. The actor revealed that the showrunner Miguel Sapochnik is his good friend so is Matt Smith who plays the lead role of Daemon Targaryen.

The Modern Love actor went on to say, "I'm looking forward to it but it's gonna be hard. I've got a huge emotional connection to that piece, to that story, to that world."

On reuniting with Richard Madden, his Game of Thrones co-star in Eternals, Kit told Heart Breakfast, "Yeah he can't get rid of me. He couldn't believe it when I turned up on set. He was like 'What the hell are you doing here?'"

Talking about Eternals, the film is directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Chloé Zhao. The film features an ensemble cast including Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Harish Patel, Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie.

Zhao has penned the screenplay with Patrick Burleigh, Ryan Firpo and Kaz Firpo while the film is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Eternals is a part of Phase Four of the MCU and is set to hit the big screens on November 5, 2021.
