Koffee With Karan 7: Karan Johar makes a rare slip of the tongue, addresses Shahid Kapoor as Kareena Kapoor Khan's 'ex-husband'

In the most recent episode of his hugely famous chat show, Koffee With Karan Season 7, filmmaker Karan Johar made a Freudian error. When KJo asked Kareena Kapoor Khan a question during the show, he had a rare slip of the tongue that was included in the episode's final cut.

KJo questioned Kareena, who goes by Bebo and has been frequently on the show since its debut, "Bebo, you have been on this show so many times. You have come in different stages of your life. Bebo has been with her husband, ex-hus..."

Kareena was staring at the host in disbelief as Karan waited to finish the phrase, but by the time he finished, the bullet had already left the barrel.

Aamir Khan, who was also a guest on the couch with Kareena, was left speechless as he appeared to find the slip-up amusing.

Correcting his error, Karan went on, "Not ex-husband, sorry. She's been with her ex-boyfriend. She's then been with her contemporary, and I have seen you through all these stages."

Although Kareena largely avoided most of Karan's questions during the rapid-fire round, her reaction has the internet buzzing. The actor's rapid-fire round was made more interesting by Karan's question about Shahid, and it has since emerged as the episode's standout moment.

Karan asked Kareena, "Who will not be invited to Shahid Kapoor's party?" To which Kareena said, "Me, I guess." 

Karan was perplexed by this remark, which he eventually covered up by laughing off.

Prior to their relationship, Shahid and Kareena dated in the middle of the 2000s. The two discussed their connection in a very frank manner. However, they parted ways after the 2007 film Jab We Met was released.

Shahid wed Mira Rajput in 2016, whereas Kareena dated Saif Ali Khan before getting married to him in 2012.
