Koffee with Karan 7: Liger stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday to grace Karan Johar’s couch?

Karan Johar had delighted fans with his quirky announcement of Koffee with Karan’s return. The seventh season of the popular talk show promises to stand apart from the previous seasons for many reasons. Numerous recent reports have talked about how Karan plans to welcome many South Indian celebrities to the couch as well. And it seems that Liger stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday too might make an appearance on the show.

According to a report in India Today, Deverakonda is planning to make his Koffee with Karan debut with the show’s upcoming season. His co-star in Liger, Ananya Panday, is expected to join him on the show. A source told the portal that having the duo on together made sense as Koffee With Karan’s new season will air around the time of Liger’s release.

The report also stated that Rashmika Mandanna might also join Deverakonda in lieu of Ananya as well. Deverakonda and Mandanna had starred in films such as Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade(2019) together. The source added that the shoot date for Deverakonda’s segment for the talk show will get decided later on, as Karan is currently shooting with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The filmmaker had reportedly also shot with Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan.

Other South Indian celebrities who have appeared on the couch include the team of Baahubali, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and SS Rajamouli.

Koffee with Karan,one of the longest running Indian talk shows, returns for its seventh season after a gap of almost three years. Karan officially announced the return of the show this month, saying that the show will stream on Disney+Hotstar. The production on the seventh season started recently.
