Kriti Sanon is on a roll. After the success of the recent films, Mimi with Pankaj Tripathi and Hum Do Hamare Do with Rajkummar Rao, Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah, she has her hands full with several projects this year. She will be seen playing roles in five projects of different genres and Sanon seems to be trying to prove her mettle as an actor.

The actor credits her last year's release Mimi for giving her the confidence to take more risks. Mimi featured her solely leading the film and the actor was appreciated for her impeccable performance in the drama where she played the role of a surrogate mother. Looking back at the year gone by, she told ETimes that the year was amazing for her professionally. "The kind of love that Mimi got has been extremely overwhelming and has not only made me more confident as an actor to take risks but has also made me hungrier to push the envelope further."
