Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha is only a few weeks away from its big release and fans are eagerly waiting to see what the actor has in store for them. The movie’s makers have now shared a special poster of the movie as the world celebrates Parents’ Day.

The poster features the younger version of the titular character on a special outing with his mother, holding a red balloon. The poster also has “Happy Parents’ Day” written on it, wishing parents around the world on this special day. While the poster has not a lot to offer, fans who have seen Forrest Gump can understand why the poster becomes special on this day.

Laal Singh Chaddha is the official Hindi remake of the classic coming-of-age movie Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks. While the movie tells the story about an innocent boy who goes on to achieve great things in his life, the story of his mother and her unconditional love for him is also a beautiful element in the movie.

Mona Singh plays the role of Chaddha’s mother in the Hindi remake and the actor also took to social media to share the warm poster with the fans. “Nobody on earth can ever love u more than ur own parents #happyparentsday,” she wrote in the post.

The Hindi remake is directed by Advait Chandan, while the adapted screenplay is penned by actor Atul Kulkarni. Apart from Aamir Khan in the lead, the movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as the female lead.

Bankrolled by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios, Laal Singh Chaddha is set to hit theatres around the country on August 11.
