In 2018, Bryan Woods and Scott Beck wrote and Krasinski adapted the post-apocalyptic horror film A Quiet Place. Beck and Woods devised the screenplay. In a post-apocalyptic world where aliens with extraordinary hearing live, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski play parents struggling for survival. In the film, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe portray their children.

Into the Woods - Disney+ Hotstar

Based on Stephen Sondheim's 1987 Broadway musical of the same name, James Lapine wrote the screenplay for Rob Marshall's 2014 musical fantasy film Into the Woods. Jaume Collet-Serra directed Jungle Cruise, a fantasy adventure film, in 2021. Glenn Ficarra, John Requa, and Michael Green wrote the film's screenplay. It takes inspiration from the same theme park attraction that Walt Disney created. The film features Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Édgar Ramírez, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti and was produced by Walt Disney Pictures. An alternate timeline unfolds in which a diminutive riverboat captain, beset by a German expedition and cursed conquistadors, leads a sister and a scientist on a perilous journey across the Amazon in search of the fabled Tree of Life.

Emily Blunt portrays Dr. Lily Houghton, a heroic, quirky, and brave botanist who works in a male-dominated profession and seeks to locate the "tree" to harness its healing properties for contemporary medicine. Ram Bergman and James D. Stern produced the 2012 sci-fi action-thriller Looper, while Rian Johnson wrote and directed it. The film's cast includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emily Blunt, and Bruce Willis. Criminal organisations from the future send "loopers," or "present-day" contract murderers, back in time to carry out their evil deeds.

Written by Erin Cressida Wilson and directed by Tate Taylor, based on Paula Hawkins's 2015 debut novel of the same name, is the 2016 psychological thriller film The Girl on the Train.
