Lock Upp: Anjali Arora would routinely go for sehri and iftari with Munawar Faruqui, she reveals

Anjali Arora has revealed that she broke her roza in the month of Ramzan with Munawar Faruqui daily. They were seen together on Kangana Ranaut’s reality show Lock Upp. MunJali, in fact, were so close that the tag became extremely popular and led to speculations of them being a couple.

While talking to Shama News Entertainment, Anjali revealed when Munawar would break his fast (sehri and iftari), she would join him for the same. The actress was actually talking about how Munawar is very hardworking, when she spilled the little detail.

Anjali praised Munawar for performing all his tasks despite fasting in the month of Ramzan. “Bahut badi baat hai ki roze mein usne tasks bhi kiye. Main usko har baar iss cheez ke liye appreciate karti hoon kyunki bahut mushkil hai,” she said.

The actress added that she too had kept a roza and thus, she knows how tough it is to do anything while fasting so rigorously. It is not yet revealed why Anjali kept just one roza, if there was a reason for it.

Anjali then went on to explain how the makers helped the kaidis understand when it was time for sehri or iftari. The kaidis were locked inside a jail with no way of knowing what day or time it is. They had no access to phones or even a basic clock. Initially, they did not even get access to the sun but on Payal Rohatgi’s demand, the kaidis were granted that.

Anjali shared that the guards would enter the jail at 4 am and since she has a light sleep, she would instantly understand what was happening. That is how she helped Munawar understand when it was time for sehri. Of course, the kaidis also got a notification that said ‘sehri time.’

Anjali would wake Munawar up after stopping the guards from entering the barricade. She said that she and Munawar had a routine – that they would have sehri and iftari together.

Munawar and Anjali were touted to be a couple inside Lock Upp. While he had maintained that they are friends, Anjali had even proposed to him. However, when the show came to an end, it was revealed that they both have a partner outside the house who they are loyal too.

Munawar recently made his relationship with Nazila official. He now goes on dates with her very publicly. Meanwhile, Anjali’s parents are also aware about her boyfriend Akash and she had revealed that he is very chilled out with Munawar too.
