Lock Upp day 31 written update: Munawar Faruqui surprises all, beats Payal Rohatgi at workout

Day 31 in the Lock Upp begins with Shivam Sharma talking to Kaaranvir Bohra through the cameras. Payal Rohatgi talks to Ali Merchant about how child m**station and gangr* po* has a bad influence on the society after reading the news.

Munawar Faruqui and Nisha Rawal talk about how Vinit Kakar fooled Team Orange saying he wants to be with them and then went with Team Blue. Vinit Kakar asks Zeeshan Khan how was his move of evicting Kaaranvir. Zeeshan calls it a ballsy move and Vinit realizes that he made enemies with his move. Zeeshan assures nobody from Team Orange will try to ruin his game.

Nisha tells Munawar she will pick Ali and Mandana Karimini if she has to name someone from her team. Munawar says if he has to pick someone from Team Blue, it would be Vinit Kakar and himself.

Anjali Arora searches through Team Orange's luggages to find coins. She does with the help of Shivam.

Team Blue had won 57 coins while Team Orange won 33 coins. The new task involves getting more coins. The task involves Bhaag Kaidi Bhaag. The inmates have to burn most calories. The more these inmates burn, the more they earn.

The teams have to select who will wear the device. Team Blue picks Shivam and Team Orange picks Zeeshan. The device can be passed on to someone else after one person completes their task. Both Zeeshan and Shivam get a smart watch.

Munawar asks Shivam if he can burn calories by kissing and he would kiss Shivam if that helped. He then runs with Zeeshan and so does Nisha. Anjali tries to distract him. She roots for Shivam by naming Sara Khan. Shivam motives himself singing Bhaag Bose DK. Shivam burned over 494 calories. Meanwhile, Zeeshan burned 617 calories.

Vinit and Ali Merchant go next. They have to use their hands for burning calories. Vinit does push-ups. Payal distracts Vinit. Poonam Pandey breaks down since her back keeps hurting. Payal tries to calm her down. Munawar and Payal go next in the task. Vinit burned 633 calories and Ali burned 618 calories.

Munawar and Payal get glute exercise. Munawar jokes with his exercise. He then does crunches. He then mimics Payal's workout in a hilarious way. She goes her separate way while Anjali helps Munawar out. While working out, Munawar says he wants to sue the makers for making him work out. Munawar burned 424 calories and Payal burned 376 calories. Payal is left confused. She questions Munawar too. He in turn rubs it in her face. Payal then says Munawar is running the show.

Vinit and Anjali from Team Blue and Mandana and Zeeshan from Team Orange go next. These inmates have to mimic each other while working out. Vinit burned 556 calories and Anjali burned 563 calories. Zeeshan burned 565 calories and Mandana burned 536 calories. Thus, Team Blue burned 2670 calories while Team Orange burned 2712 calories.

All the inmates get their own beds. Both the team celebrate. Munawar asks Nisha who is the lowest calorie burner of the day to rub it in Payal's face.

We get to see Shivam use Sara's drawer. Munawar takes his coins hidden at the terrace. That is when Azma Fallah calls Team Orange to check it. Team Blue gets 267 coins more while Team Orange gets 271 coins.

Azma pisses off Zeeshan by talking loudly at night and he sleeps outside his barrack. MunJali make fun of the situation. Munawar says Lock Upp people have sent 'khilona' (toy) and Anjali adds 'chaabi wala' jo kabhi bhi phatt jaata hai', hinting at Azma. She calls Zeeshan 'piece of shit' and says he looks like 'goo'. She then promises Nisha to deal with Zeeshan later.
