Lock Upp Exclusive! Kangana Ranaut calls Poonam Pandey her show’s ‘Nirupa Roy’ – know why

Kangana Ranaut is back at taking every inmates’ class on Lock Upp’s weekend episode. This time, Poonam Pandey was on her radar. The host ended up calling the jailor Lock Upp’s ‘Nirupa Roy’, of course not in a good way.

Kangana was taking every contestants’ class on the Sunday episode of Lock Upp. That is when she spoke about Poonam and called her ‘Nirupa Roy’ of the show.

“Yahan Poonam Pandey bheja tha, aap Nirupa Roy banke aayi hai,” Kangana told the bold actress. For the uninitiated, Nirupa Roy is known for playing the extremely sensitive and yet dramatic mother to Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor in Deewar.

The host then asked Poonam to stop with her self-sacrifice attitude and focus on playing the game. “Yeh jo aapko latt lagi hai self-sacrifice ki, please usse chodh dijiye,” Kangana told Poonam while guiding her on how to go ahead on the show.

It is to be noted that earlier in the week, Poonam did show her sultry side for a task. Jailor Karan Kundrra had even entered the house and praised the contestant for performing the task so well that people thought she was actually doing things for footage.

Poonam, who is often seen in that version online, has shown her sweet side in the house. Thus, Kangana asked her to stop pretending to be the ‘sati savitri’ in the house.

While Poonam has been taking her stand in the Lock Upp, she rarely brings the x-factor which is there on her social media accounts. That is exactly what Kangana tried to tell the actress, who has massive number of followers on social media because of her content.
