Lock Upp Grand Finale: Anjali Arora out of the race, Munawar Faruqui competes with Payal Rohatgi for trophy

Anjali Arora is out of the Lock Upp Grand Finale race. Kangana Ranaut had to pick top two and it wasn’t a tough choice for her between Munawar Faruqui, Anjali and Payal Rohatgi. Thus, she evicted Anjali from the race.

Kangana asked Anjali if she is her own person. While Anjali agreed, Kangana disagreed. She even stated the obvious – that Anjali grew from the shadows.

The host spoke about Anjali making use of and being under Munawar’s shadow on the show. Anjali became a trend on the internet through #MunJali. She took care of Munawar and thus, she was tagged as Munawar’s chamchi and maid on the show.

Anjali is a social media sensation. She has become popular by making reels. She became an overnight sensation after her Kacha Badam video went viral.

Often, Anjali was called out in Lock Upp jail. Payal called her 12 million (the number of her users on Instagram) and Azma Fallah called her Munawar’s maid. She said so because Anjali had washed Munawar’s clothes on the day he could not. The video had made it to the episode.

Like Saisha Shinde, Anjali has also confessed that she started falling for Munawar. However, ever since, she maintained her distance from him, thus breaking MunJali.

Anjali also played her individual game from time-to-time and was appreciated for the same but since she mostly played for and with Munawar, Anjali rather worked from the shadows.

On the other hand, Munawar and Payal have always gone neck-to-neck with each other on the show. It has gone to the extent that they said that they don’t like each other but don’t hate each other too.
