Lock Upp: Nisha Rawal accuses Munawar Faruqui of ‘rubbing against her back’ – all you need to know

Nisha Rawal expressed how upset she was with Munawar Faruqui in one of the most recent episodes of Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp. She accused Munawar of ‘rubbing against her back’. Of course, it happened during a task and they have moved past it at this given point. Here’s all you need to know…

What exactly happened?

During the task when Team Blue and Team Orange had to create coins from the scratch, Karanvir Bohra had managed to steal some of Team Orange’s coins. When that happened, Team Orange retaliated by trying to destroy Team Blue’s coins. Vinit Kakar, who just became a part of Team Blue (at least for the task back then) took the coins Team Blue created and the ones they got from Team Orange in the smoking room and hid them. That is when Team Orange’s members including Mandana Karimi and Nisha Rawal tried to destroy Team Orange’s coins too. It was a lot of chaos since Team Blue’s members tried to save their coins and Team Orange tried to destroy them. Poonam Pandey and Munawar Faruqui took the lead in trying to protect Team Blue’s coins. In the chaos, Munawar pushed many inmates away. One of them happened to be Nisha. She later accused him of ‘rubbing against her back’ during the task and expressed she was upset with that kind of behaviour because she didn’t expect it from someone like Munawar.

How did Munawar take the accusation?

Rather than being mad, Munawar understood that Nisha was upset and he sat her down, even if she was not ready to accept his apology. He smiled at Nisha and probably thought that she would understand because it was unintentional and in the chaos. However, being a lady with morals, Nisha refused to put her foot down till the last moment and even scolded Munawar for smiling. She put forth some terms and conditions which Munawar had to agree to if he wanted her to accept his apology.

What were the terms and conditions?

After Munawar profusely apologized and asked her how can he make it right, Nisha put forth some terms. She made him promise her that nobody from Team Blue would promote violence any more. Munawar did promise that but not on behalf of the whole team. He explained that his team member Shivam Sharma does not have control over himself when he is angry and it gets difficult for others to calm him down too. Thus, he is a piece of work. Otherwise, Munawar agreed that Team Blue wouldn’t cause trouble for her at the very least.

Munawar not the first man to be accused of getting physical in the jail

On the same day as the Nisha incident, Anjali Arora and Poonam Pandey accused Ali Merchant of trying to pull Anjali’s t-shirt. This was also during a task. Ali tried to take a bag that Anjali was holding close to her upper body. When he tried to pull the bag, according to Poonam, Anjali’s t-shirt also came out and she pulled it back down. That is when Poonam and Anjali gave Ali a piece of their mind. Eventually though, of course, Anjali and Ali also shook their hands and ended the matter.
