Lock Upp: Rashami Desai confirms she is not joining Kangana Ranaut’s show

Lock Upp has been grabbing eyeballs with its drama and tension and fun. Recently there were also reports suggesting that actor Rashami Desai will be joining the show as a contestant. 

The actor has decided to officially clear the air around this, and confirm that she will not enter the show. “This is to set the record straight, that contrary to reports, I am not joining ‘LockUpp’ as a contestant. I have done a similar format show with Bigg Boss 15 and I am quite happy with my current commitments.” she said in an official statement. 

She also says while a full time association is not something she is looking at, she would not turn down a guest appearance in the show to please her fans. She also asked the media to verify details before writing about it and that there are exciting things to come in the future. 

Lock Upp has added contestants to the show as wildcard entries and Chetan Hansraj also entered the show this way. Speculations about Desai also joining the show have been in plenty following this. 

The Dil Se Dil Tak actor was a part of Bigg Boss 15, a show that works in the same lines of Lock Upp, which is hosted by Kangana Ranaut. 

While Desai has not yet announced her next project, she recently appeared in a single titled Biraj Mein Jhoom, which was released on the occasion of Holi.
