Lock Upp has been a hub for controversial celebs, mainly from the Indian television industry. After Ali Merchant, the makers are introducing the second wild card entrant on the show. Chetan Hansraj, who is known for playing vicious villain characters in the Indian daily soaps, is the new inmate in Kangana Ranaut's jail.

The makers released a new promo video to introduce Chetan as the new player of the show. The montage begins with a background voice that says, "In the jail full of heroes and heroines, lacked a villain. Chetan Hansraj is now in Lock Upp. And to stay in this badass jail, he will play a tyrant game." Meanwhile, the Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii actor can be seen fully prepared for his innings in the controversial house.

The makers shared the latest clip on MX Player's official IG handle and captioned it, "Badass jail mein ab aayega ek villain. #LockUpp mein kaid hone aa rahe hai @chetan_hansraj. Don't miss the live stream of the Judgement Day episode at 10:30 pm tonight. (sic)."

Talking about his thoughts on entering the show, the Brahmarakshas actor mentioned in a recent statement, " I am actually feeling amazing for being a part of this unique show called 'Lock Upp.' I have done a lot of work with Balaji for 18 years and its the first time I am working with ALT Balaji and MX Player. So I am excited about a completely new team.. It still feels like home. So I am very excited to work with a new team of ALT Balaji and MX Player."

Makers have also unveiled a video that shows the television actor entering the show with full passion. Chetan stepped into Kangana's jail while dancing on Punjabi dhol and covered with holi colours. The inmates including Munawar, Shivam and Saisha welcomed their new competition with open arms.
