The audio and trailer launch of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's upcoming film Vikram was held last evening in Chennai. During the big event, the film's director Lokesh Kanagaraj confirmed the presence of actor Suriya in the film, putting to rest the speculations about Suriya's presence in the action entertainer. The film has Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil playing crucial roles in it.

Suriya, we hear, will be playing an important cameo in the film. The trailer that was released yesterday also gives a sneak peek into Suriya's scenes in it. Meanwhile fans of the actor have been discussing about Suriya's possible character in the film.

Going by the trailer, the film seems to an action entertainer, with Kamal playing a ruthless gang lord. He calls himself the lion of the mafia jungle. He also refers to Vijay Sethupathi's character as the leopard and Fadhad's character as the tiger of this jungle, who get locked in a battle.

Taking to his social media page, Lokesh shared the trailer with the caption, "My way of showing Love and Gratitude to my Guru @kamalhaasan馃檹馃徎Here it is theTrailer of 鈥榁IKRAM鈥欚煍ヰ煍ヰ煍ttps://youtu.be/OKBMCL-frPU (sic)."

The track list comprises five songs, namely Pathala Pathala, which was released earlier, and was written and sung by Kamal Haasan, Vikram title track (which has lyrics by Vishnu Edavan and sung by Anirudh himself), Wasted (lyrics by Heisenberg and sung by Anirudh), Porkada Singam (lyrics by Vishnu Edavan and sung by Ravi G) and Once Upon a Time (lyrics by Heisenberg and sung by Anirudh).

In the meantime, the single Pathala Pathala, which was released earlier, is written and sung by Kamal Haasan himself. The star cast Narain, Shanavi Srivatsava, Kalidas Jayaram, Shivani Narayanan, Hareesh Peradi, and Gayathrie Shankar. Vikram is all set to hit screens on June 3 and the digital rights have been snapped by Disney + Hostar.
