Madhu Mantena-Ira Trivedi’s reception: Director Srijit Mukherji meets Aamir Khan, soaks in nostalgia

It was nothing short of a galaxy as stars from different entertainment industries attended the reception of producer and filmmaker Madhu Mantena and author and yoga guru Ira Trivedi. From Allu Arun to Hrithik Roshan to Sara Ali Khan and Aamir Khan – several superstars of the country were seen enjoying the party. Shabash Mithu director Srijit Mukherji, who has been friends with Madhu Mantena, was also present at the do. 

Srijit took a photograph with Aamir Khan and posted it on his social media. While talking to OTTplay, the director said that the party was full of eminent actors and actresses, including Hrithik Roshan, Sara Ali Khan, Huma Qureshi, Sonakshi Sinha, Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Chunky Pandey, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Shubhash Ghai, Rakulpreet Singh, Rajkumar Rao, Pritam, Nitish Tiwary, Fardeen Khan, Sonali Kulkarni, Sonali Bendre, and others. “I took a photo with Aamir because a lot of nostalgia is associated with him. I met him first at the shooting set of Dhoom 3. Sudipda (Chatterjee, acclaimed cinematographer) introduced me to him. Aamir Khan means a lot of memories. It was like nostalgia snapped in the middle of a chat,” he said. 

Madhu co-produced Srijit’s debut film, Autograph, which was released in 2018. The film features Prosenjit Chatterjee, Nandana Sen (Madhu’s ex), Indraneil Sengupta, and others.  

Meanwhile, Srijit just completed shooting Byomkesh Bakshi’s Durgo Rawhoshyo in Madhya Pradesh. He took to his social media to announce the wrap of the schedule.
