Fahadh Faasil has turned himself from a failed actor to one of the most refined actors in the country today. Turning people from different corners of the country into his fans with each performance, Fahadh is set to return with yet another movie that will leave viewers stunned. The makers of Malayankunju have now released the movie’s official trailer.
The trailer shows off Fahadh’s character, a tinkering electrician living in a small town in Kerala, who is constantly annoyed by the crying child from the neighbouring house. We get to see him getting into scraps with the neighbour for the same, and even get a warning from the police for it.
The trailer then changes track, as we see his character trapped after what looks to be a landslide that has hit the town. He is seen trapped under the rumble along with Jaffarr Idukki. The actor does a great job in translating the panic of his character, giving the viewers a feeling of claustrophobia. The stakes are increased as he can hear the same crying child trapped next to him.
The trailer promises a survival thriller that will leave fans’ minds blown thanks to great acting and technical brilliance. The movie is helmed by Sajimon Prabhakar Sajimon Prabhakar, who makes his directorial debut.
Mahesh Narayanan, who has directed Fahadh in Take Off and Malik, is on board the movie as writer and cinematographer. Another highlight of Malayankunju is that ace music director A.R. Rahman is composing the movie’s music.
Also starring Rajisha Vijayan, Indrans, and Deepak Parambol the movie is backed by Fazil. Malayankunju is set to hit theatres on July 22nd.
