"Massive announcement coming soon," say impatient netizens as #Yash19 continues to trend

Actor Yash's upcoming project is nothing less than a national concern at the moment as speculations regarding his 19th film gain traction on social media. With the hashtag #Yash19 now trending on Twitter and the likes, netizens are highly hopeful of a massive announcement to come their way at the earliest. From reports suggesting a mighty Shankar - Yash collaborating to fans discussing the female lead of the project, the internet is currently ablaze with fandom and love for the Rocking Star. 

On the other hand, Yash has been slated to work with Mufti director Narthan for quite some time. The two are said to have been in discussions regarding a massive project and have been spotted together at social events, thus causing many to believe that, quite indeed, a collaboration is on the cards. With the Shankar project entering the scheme of things, it would now be a matter of time before an official confirmation is made. 

However, a few recent reports have suggested that Yash is currently prepping for the Narthan film and that he is undergoing a stark physical transformation for the role along with his fitness trainer Panipuri Kitty. To make things more interesting, the excitement for #Yash19 isn't just among the actor's Kannada fans but the mania, so to speak, has enveloped a global audience following the success of K.G.F: Chapter 2. The Prashanth Neel film not only made the franchise a worldwide phenomenon but also put the Kannada Film Industry on the map through its stellar box office results. The film is currently placed at the third position on the all-time list of highest grossers (Indian cinema) with Rs. 1250 crores and is only behind Dangal and Baahubali: The Conclusion.

The magnitude of the KGF success has surely catapulted Yash's stardom to new heights and his subsequent projects now warrant a similar treatment in terms of scale and reach, if not better. Few reports have claimed that the actor's remuneration too has shot up multifold, making him one of the biggest actors working in India today. Yash has also alluded to the fact that he needs to be careful with his choice of roles in the future but still prefers films to be set in the local milieu.
