The series is tentatively titled Pearl.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle under their production house Archewell Productions are bringing an animated series on Netflix. Tentatively titled Pearl, the show is about a pre-teen girl who is inspired by influential historic women, reported Vanity Fair. This is the second project of the couple for Netflix for which Meghan will be serving as an executive producer. Talking more about the theme, it's set against the backdrop of time travel.
As per the international portal, Markle spoke about the show in a statement that read as "Like many girls her age, our heroine Pearl is on a journey of self-discovery as she tries to overcome life’s daily challenges."
Earlier this year, Netflix had announced a docuseries by Prince Harry titled Heart of Invictus which is based on the Invictus Games that to flag off in 2022.
Moreover, Carolyn Soper of Tangled fame will also be the EP of this much-anticipated project along with David Furnish, Liz Garbus, Dan Cogan. The showrunner for the show will be Amanda Rynda.
About the show, Soper also said, "Pearl is a character in which everyone will recognize a piece of themselves while absolutely rooting for her as she discovers so much about the world, both past and present, and how she fits into it."
Meanwhile, Meghan who was an actor was popular for her role in Suits as Rachel Zane. She was a part of the show in the main role from 2011 to 2018.
She was the narrator of the 2020 film Elephant which is a Disneynature film.
Earlier this year, Meghan and Prince Harry grabbed eyeballs for their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey which was titled Oprah with Meghan and Harry. It garnered millions of views across the globe.
