Michael teaser: Sundeep Kishan, Vijay Sethupathi stand out in this intriguing promo video of a gangster drama

It was announced last year that Sundeep Kishan will headline Michael, a gangster drama, which will be released in multiple languages. The Ranjit Jeyakodi directorial gained massive hype after Vijay Sethupathi and Gautham Menon came on board to essay pivotal roles in the film.

The team has now unveiled its one-and-a-half minute teaser which offers a glimpse into its genre and plot. Sundeep, who essays the role of a goon, is seen taking on a few baddies. The actor has sported a ripped physique for the first time, while Sethupathi is seen playing another badass character after Master and Vikram.

Lokesh Kanagaraj has bagged the theatrical rights of the movie which has been bankrolled by Bharath Chowdary and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under Karan C Productions and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas respectively. Interestingly, Lokesh's first directorial project Maanagaram had Sundeep essaying one of the lead roles in it.

Divyansha Kaushik, Varun Sandesh, Ayyappa Sharma, Anasuya and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar play key characters in Michael which has dialogues penned by Rajan Radhamanalan along with director Ranjit. Kiran Koushik and R Sathyanarayanan have cranked the camera and edited the film respectively. Sam CS has composed music for the project while Gandhi Nadikudikar has helmed art direction.

Dinesh Kasi's stunt sequences are expected to be highlights of Michael which will hit the screens in 2023. Dhanush released the movie's teaser; Sundeep is playing a significant role in the former's adventure action flick Captain Miller which went on floors recently. 

Sundeep's last outing in Tamil was Kasada Tabara which had a direct release on SonyLIV. His long-delayed project Naragasooran, directed by Karthick Naren, is one of his forthcoming Kollywood movies.
