Mike: John Abraham’s debut Malayalam production starring Anaswara Rajan wraps shoot

Back in December, John Abraham released the first look of his first Malayalam production starring Anaswara Rajan. The latest news about the upcoming movie is that it has wrapped production. 

The news was shared to the fans through social media posts by the makers of the movie. Anaswara also shared a photo of the clap board that read “pack up” using the Instagram story feature. 

The movie marks the debut Malayalam production of Bollywood star John Abraham through his production house JA Entertainment. The production house has previously backed movies such as Madras Cafe, Parmanu and Batla House.

The movie, which is said to be a coming of age movie, is written by Ashiq Akbar Ali, who has previously penned the story of Kala Viplavam Pranayam which came out in 2018. 

Renadive, who previously worked in Comrade in America, Vijay Superum Pournamiyum and Shylock, will be handling the camera. Radhan, who previously worked in the 2017 romantic drama Arjun Reddy, will provide the music for the project. 

Directed by Vishnu Sivaprasad, the movie went on floors in October in Mysore. Apart from Rajan, the movie also stars debutant Ranjith Sajeev in the lead. The movie also features Jinu Joseph, Abhiram, Akshay Radhakrishnan, and Sini Abraham in various roles. 

Abraham has also bagged the official remake rights of the hit Malayalam movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon. Ek Villain Returns, Attack, 1911 and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan are other projects of Abraham that are in the pipeline.

Anaswara Rajan’s romantic comedy Super Sharanya directed by Gireesh AD is now running in theaters. This is the second time the two are collaborating after the hit movie Thanneer Mathan Dinangal.
