Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty: Occupancy rises over the long weekend, latest Telugu states and US collections here

Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty is a smash hit at the box office and the film's collections are only getting better with each passing day. Mahesh Babu P directed this film which had Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty as the main leads. UV Creations bankrolled the film in Telugu and Radhaan scored the music. 

The urban comedy was released on September 7, 2023, alongside Shahrukh Khan's Jawan. Well, the film has crossed the Rs 23 crore share mark in Telugu states and is in the safe zone already. What all the film is making is only profit for the makers. As it is the long weekend, the occupancy has only improved.

Now, the special aspect is that Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty has crossed the $1.5 million mark in the US which is huge. The makers expected the film to gross one million but it has grossed over one and a half and is on the verge of making 2 million. 

Anushka Shetty did not attend a single event of the film for reasons only known to her. But Naveen Polishetty has made sure that the film goes deep into the audience with his aggressive promotions. He even went to the US to promote the film. 

We at OTTplay have already reported that Netflix has bagged the digital rights of Miss Shetty Mr Poloshetty for a fancy price and the film will be out in the second week of October 2023. Anushka Shetty played the role of a chef who wants to have a baby through a sperm donor. 

Naveen Polishetty plays the sperm donor and the chemistry between them was quite superb. The comedy scenes and the emotions in the last half an hour made things click big time for the film. Anushka has revealed in her interviews that Naveen Polishetty is one of the major reasons for the film to click at the box office.
