The highly anticipated Modern Love Mumbai finally hit OTT on Friday, with its contemporary tales of love set in the titular city. The makers unveiled a song from the film’s soundtrack titled Shuru Se Shuru.
The song’s music video features snippets from the episode in the anthology titled Cutting Chai, which features Chitrangda Singh and Arshad Warsi. In the music video, viewers get to see several delightful glimpses of the couple and their family. The heartfelt clips, coupled with Shankar Mahadevan’s soulful rendition and Tanishk Nabar’s affecting lyrics, just add to the appeal of the song. Trio Shankar Ehsaan Loy have composed the track.

Other episodes in the anthology series include Raat Rani, Baai, Mumbai Dragon, My Beautiful Wrinkles and I Love Thane. Modern Love: Mumbai is the first of three Indian adaptations of John Carney’s popular American TV series, which was inspired by a recurring column in the New York Times. Other Indian adaptations of the show include Modern Love: Chennai, and Modern Love: Hyderabad, which will premiere in Tamil and Telugu respectively.
All six episodes of Modern Love Mumbai are available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
