Natchathiram Nagargiradhu first look: Pa Ranjith's forthcoming film touches upon unexplored politics in love

A few days ago, director Pa Ranjith announced that he will be unveiling the first look poster of his upcoming movie Natchathiram Nagargiradhu with a vague image that reminds us of a beautiful abstract painting. He has now released the attractive first look which features Dushara Vijayan's face and her long, blue curly hair on which other actors are placed. 

Kalidas Jayaram and Kalaiyarasan are others who play important characters in the film which was wrapped up last year. Ranjith has also informed that the movie will be released in theatres soon. His last outing Sarpatta Parambarai, which also had Dushara Vijayan in a key role, had a direct release on Amazon Prime Video.

Maari Vinoth and Shabeer Kallarakkal, who was also seen in the filmmaker's last release, are other artists who essay significant roles in Natchathiram Nagargiradhu. Santhosh Narayanan, who has composed music for all the projects of Ranjith, is surprisingly not associated with the movie.

The director has chosen Tenma as the film's composer while A Kishor Kumar and RK Selva are in charge of the film's cinematography and editing respectively. Ilayaragu is at the helm of art direction while Sandy and Stunner Ram have choreographed dance moves and action scenes respectively.

Yaazhi Films and Neelam Productions have jointly produced the project which is expected to arrive later this year. Ranjith is all set to begin the works related to his next movie Chiyaan 61 (tentative title) with Vikram which has Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green bankrolling it.

Fans of Ranjith and other film buffs are looking forward to the politics he would be conveying in Natchathiram Nagargiradhu. The film's story revolves around a group of youngsters who are part of a theatre group. How caste discrimination leads to a major conflict among them forms the rest of the story.
