Nayanthara, Samantha seen having fun as they get ready to recreate the iconic pose from Titanic

On February 22, director Vignesh Shivan released a poster of Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal featuring Nayanthara, Samantha and Vijay Sethupathi in it, and reaffirmed its release date as April 28. Interestingly, the poster is an edited version of a popular scene from Baahubali: The Conclusion where Prabhas and Anushka are seen wielding arrows in their bows.

Fans of Nayan, Sam and Sethupathi lapped up the poster as soon as it was released. Later, the director also released a new poster featuring Nayanthara and Samantha, which sent their fans into a tizzy. 

Samantha also took to her Instagram page to share the poster and posted about their friendship as well. Her post read, "To our special friendship #Nayanthara. She’s not on social media but she sends you her love (sic)."

After a while, a video from the film's shooting location went viral. It had both the actors along with Vijay getting ready for the photoshoot. Apparently, this was for one of the posters of the movie which was unveiled earlier by the team. It had the three actors recreating the iconic pose in Titanic made by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet on the ship railing, spreading their arms.

The one-minute video has the three of them having fun on set even as they are seen interacting with the crew members. The teaser of the movie, which was released recently, has garnered 10M views and Vignesh had expressed happiness for the same in another post sometime ago.

Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies has acquired the movie's theatrical rights recently. Anirudh Ravichander has composed music for the project which will have Vijay Sethupathi playing Rambo, Nayanthara playing Kanmani and Samantha playing Khatija. SR Kathir ISC and Vijay Karthik Kannan have cranked camera for Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
