NBK107: Balakrishna's next with director Gopichand Malineni to go on floors this day!

While Nandamuri Balakrishna is awaiting the release of his upcoming movie Akhanda with Boyapati Srinu, he is also set to commence shoot for his next film, the 107th project in his career, with Krack director Gopichandh Malineni. The film is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers. The team recently confirmed that Shruti Haasan has been cast as the female lead in it. The muhurat shoot of the untitled film, referred as #NBK107, will be held on November 13 in Hyderabad, the producers shared an update on Wednesday.

The image shared in the tweet had a ferocious lion in it, a popular reference in actor Nandamuri Balakrishna's films in recent years. S Thaman is composing the music for the film, his second with Balakrishna (after Akhanda). The unique combination has definitely got fans excited about the film.

Reportedly, Kannada actor, director Duniya Vijay is on board to play the antagonist. An official announcement about the same is expected shortly. Gopichandh Malineni's last release was Krack, starring Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, Varu Sarathkumar and Samuthirakani. NBK107 will be the third time that Gopichand would be associating with Shruti Haasan (after Balupu, Krack). Balakrishna, apart from Akhanda, also made his OTT debut with a talk show on aha, Unstoppable with NBK. The second episode of the show featuring Nani will premiere on November 12.
