Nelson's Vijay-starrer Beast to be wrapped up in December; team all set for another schedule in Georgia

It's been a while since fans of Vijay received an update from the team of Beast, being directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, who is on a high after the success of his recent outing, Doctor (streaming on Netflix). 

The first look and second look of the action flick were released on June 22, on Vijay's birthday, and since then his fans are left with no update despite them pinning hopes whenever Sun Pictures, which is bankrolling the project, comes up with a tweet. 

Since the much-awaited Rajinikanth-starrer Annaatthe, which was produced by the production house, has hit the screens recently, Vijay fans hope they will now surprise them with back-to-back updates.     

It's now heard that the movie will be wrapped up by December, and the makers are still sticking to their early plans of releasing it as a summer release in 2022. Meanwhile, there are a few news doing the rounds on social media pertaining to the movie. 

According to a source, the makers have readied a song on the lines of Kolaveri, and they hope releasing it as the first single will elevate the already existing humongous hype of the project. With Anirudh as the film's composer, fans are assured that he will come up with an output of at least minimum standard.    

The latest we hear about Beast is that the team is using a special rig to film its climax, which involves some chasing and action sequences. A couple of pictures of the same have been going viral on social media since Tuesday morning. The team, which had completed a schedule in Georgia earlier this year, is expected to fly again to the European country soon, to shoot a major sequence there.
