Ahead of the release of season 4 of Elite, Netflix will be dropping four short films that will serve as bridge content. Each of these shorts of the Spanish teen drama-thriller will be released from June 14 to June 17, with the latest season premiering on June 18.
In a video shared by Netflix recently, the audience got glimpses of the characters that will be starring in each of these short films. While the first story will be about Guzman, Caye and Rebe (Miguel Bernardeau, Georgina Amorós and Claudia Salas), the second will feature Guzman and Nadia (Mina El Hammani). The penultimate story on June 16 will have Omar, Ander and Alexis (Omar Ayuso, Arón Piper and Jorge Clemente) and the final one will star Carla and Samuel (Ester Expósito and Itzan Escamilla). The makers clarify that these are not spin-offs.
Talking about the short films in a statement, the show’s co-creator Carlos Montero said, “They don’t fit the format or there’s no physical time to develop them, and we’re always left with the bitter taste that we would have liked to share them with everyone. That’s more or less how the idea of Élite Short Stories came up, we wanted to take the opportunity to explore those stories that we wanted to tell and let the world discover them."
