Nine Perfect Strangers drama series sets records as the most watched Hulu Original

Series Nine Perfect Strangers becomes the most watched Hulu Original and sets a whole new record. The viewership data are not released yet. The stellar casting and the mysterious theme of the series broke a major record for Hulu.

The Handmaid’s Tale season finale was the most watched Hulu Original ever on premiere day previously.

The series Nine Perfect Strangers marks yet another collaboration between Kidman and David E.Kelly who worked together for the HBO series Big Little Lies which was a chartbuster.

The series that released on August 18 is co-written by Kelly, John Henry Butterworth and Samantha Strauss and run by Kelley and Butterworth. The plot is set in the backdrop of a boutique health-and-wellness resort that assures healing and transformation as nine exhausted and stressed out city dwellers try to get on a path for a better living. Masha, played by Kidman, is the resort’s director who watches over them on their 10-day retreat and is on a mission to reinvigorate their drained minds and bodies. However, these nine ‘perfect’ strangers have no clue as to what is going to hit them.

The main reason behind the success of the series is said to be the stellar casting that include Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie, Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone and Manny Jacinto.

As there is so much love for Big Little Lies, it should come as no surprise that Nine Perfect Strangers is grabbing eyeballs and is lauded by many.
