Macherla Niyojakavargam is a crucial film for Nithiin, who hasn’t tasted a commercial success for a while now. The fact that he’s now coming up with an out-and-out mass entertainer suggests that he is committed to score a hit this time, even if it means that he’s playing safe. The film, which releases on August 12, marks the directorial debut of editor MS Raja Shekhar Reddy.
The latest update from the team is that they’ve wrapped up the film’s shoot excepting a song. Even the filming of the song is expected to commence soon. The post-production work of Macherla Niyojakavargam, which has music by Mahati Swara Sagar, is progressing at a brisk pace simultaneously. The composer has already finished working on the background score for the first half.
The makers of the film announcing the news even shared a special poster featuring Nithiin and Krithi Shetty in a jubilant mood. Nithiin’s father Sudhakar Reddy and sister Nikitha Reddy are bankrolling the film under Sreshth Movies and Rajkumar Akella is the presenter. Prasad Murella is the cinematographer and Sahi Suresh is the art director for a film which has dialogues by Mamidala Thirupathi. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor.
The film, on its release day, will clash with two other biggies - Samantha’s Yashoda and Akhil Akkineni’s Agent. The independence day weekend is expected to witness big crowds and producers are confident that their films will draw huge crowds. While Yashoda is a thriller, Agent is a stylish spy actioner and Macherla Niyojakavargam delivers typical mass masala one would expect from a Telugu film.
