Cupid has struck Johnny Depp again!
Ever since he won the defamation case in the US, rumours were strong about him that he was dating his lawyer Camille Vasquez.
But, the truth is far from what we all believed to be true. A news report has confirmed that actor Johnny Depp is currently dating Joelle Rich, one of his attorneys from the UK libel case.
During the US case, Johnny and Camille were said to be dating but Camille could be seen laughing it off when a journalist asked her about the status of her relationship outside the court during the trail against Amber Heard. She then dismissed the rumours, saying that she was already in a relationship with a different person.
As far as this confirmed relationship is concerned, Depp and Rich are said to be ‘pretty serious’ about each other and would meet secretly in hotels during the initial dating phase.
“Their chemistry is off the charts. It’s serious between them. They are the real deal,” a source was quoted as saying by Us.
The same report also stated that Rich Joelle was present during the Amber Heard case in US this year.
“There was no professional obligation for her being there. It was personal,” the same source told Us.
According to the news report, the attorney was married when she met Johnny and is now reportedly divorcing her husband. The former couple shares two children, as per the report.
In 2020, Joelle Rich was part of Johnny Depp’s team of lawyers who had represented him in his libel case in the UK.
For the unversed, Johnny had sued The Sun newspaper over their 2018 news article that had described him as a 'wife-beater' during his marriage to Hollywood actress Amber Heard. He lost the case in UK.
Camille Vasquez also revealed that she is dating an England-based WeWork Exec Edward Owen.
“I guess it comes with the territory of being a woman just doing her job. It's disappointing that certain outlets kind of ran with it or said that my interactions with Johnny--who is a friend and I've known and represented for four-and-a-half years now--that my interactions in any way were inappropriate or unprofessional. That's disappointing to hear,” she told People magazine.
