Welcome to another podcast of OTTplay Now You Know, where I give you all the lesser-known facts, some trivia, and info you hardly knew about your favorite shows and films. This is your host Nikhil, let's begin!

Today, the trivia is all about 4 New York ladies who strike up heartwarming conversations over sophisticated brunches and glasses of Chardonnay as they struggle to navigate city lives as women in the late 90’s. This series was not just well written but witnessed great performances by the cast. An all-time favorite comedy series, SATC won several Emmy and Golden Globe awards during its successful run for 6 seasons.

Today I shall share trivia about the hit series “ Sex and the City”. I'm your host Nikhil, stay with me.

1. This was the first cable series to win an Emmy award for outstanding comedy series and Golden Globe for Best television series for three years in a row in 1999.

2. Do you remember the very first dog that played the character, Pete, in the series? He had to be changed later as he got scared of John Corbett ​​( who played Aidan Shaw). 

3. Former US president Donald Trump had made a guest appearance in Season 2 of the series. Coincidentally, he had also presented the Emmy award to Cynthia Nixon for the last season.

4. Writer and director Michael Patrick King had tried to surround himself in the writer’s room with women who were single!
