Paayel Sarkar is all set to play a powerful mother on the screen

Paayel Sarkar has no time to respite as she is busy with several films shooting. She just finished shooting Kamaleswar Mukherjee’s Ektu Sore Bosun. She told Aajkaal Dot In that she will start shooting for Rajib Ghosh's new film Laddoo on June 18. Paayel plays the protagonist who is a mother of a specially-abled child. The shooting will be held in Bolpur for 18 days. 

Paayel has played a mother's role previously also. She does not have any inhibitions and does not think that playing a mother indicates aging. She thinks these are backdated thoughts. In the film, Paayel's specially-abled son creates tension in the family. At one time, Paayel leaves the family with her son. How will a single mother raise her son? The story deals with the theme. 

Paayel read the script with attention. She discussed with many people and understood that each such boy or girl is different, and needs special attention. It requires patience. Abhishek Singh will be opposite her. Why was Paayel chosen for such a character? Rajib said, “It is a story of female power. Paayel's appearance shows that power. Hence I did not think of anyone else.'
