The first photo of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha is out. They began the ceremony with ardas. The couple is going to get married on September 24. Their pre-wedding celebrations were being held in the Kapurthala house, which is Raghav’s home in Delhi. The first photo sees the couple in the midst of close friends and family members.

The leaked photo

In the photo, which is now doing rounds of the internet, Parineeti and Raghav were seen twinning in pink. She opted for a salwar suit and he was seen in a sherwani. They tied a pink scarf on their head. The photo was captured just as the Granthi was offering Parineeti an orange dupatta, just as he had offered it to Raghav.

The wedding celebrations

The pre-wedding festivities commenced since Sunday. Many guests arrived at the Kapurthala house on Monday, ahead of the mehendi ceremony. A video from there had been going viral. There was a tight security that kept the media also at a distance. The paparazzi had to capture every video from the other side of the road.

The wedding

Parineeti and Raghav will get married in the Leela Palace in Udaipur on September 24. The wedding card leaked on the internet suggests that after Raghav’s sehrabandi, his baaraat will leave Taj Lake Palace from 2 pm and head towards the wedding venue on September 24. They are expected to reach the venue within an hour. The jaimala is expected to take place at 3.30 pm, pheras at 4 pm and the vidai will happen at 6 pm.

Apart from the wedding, Parineeti and Raghav have also planned a 90s themed party. The theme of the wedding, though, is ‘A Pearl White Indian Wedding.’ They will serve Punjabi as well as Rajasthani cuisine to their guests. Moreover, only the groom and bride’s close friends and families will be living in the hotel. All others will arrive from nearby locations.
