Pathaan star Shah Rukh Khan’s rugged look from sets go viral; Netizens convinced star is shooting for Atlee directorial

Shah Rukh Khan fans have a lot to look forward to. In addition to seeing the star back on the big screen with Pathaan, SRK also joins hands with Atlee for an upcoming film with Nayanthara. While details regarding the Atlee directorial are being kept under wraps, a photograph of Khan on a film set has led to widespread speculation. Netizens seem to be convinced that the photograph is indeed from the sets of the Atlee project.

The viral photograph shows Khan sitting in a vehicle, with most of his face covered. Many netizens who shared the photograph believed that Khan was shooting for Atlee’s upcoming film.

Atlee’s upcoming film, touted to be an action entertainer, is rumoured to be titled Lion. Speculations regarding this to be the film’s name popped up last year when a letter surfaced online seeking permission by the makers for a filming location. The letter reportedly mentioned the film’s name as ‘Lion’. The makers are yet to confirm the same.

Atlee and SRK’s association is no secret to fans. In a recent tweet, Khan had mentioned that he was sitting with the director to watch the trailer for Vijay’s upcoming movie, Beast.

Meanwhile, Khan recently completed the Spain schedule of his next release, Pathaan. Written and directed by Siddharth Anand, the film marks Khan’s return to the big screen after a gap of almost four years, his last film being Zero (2018). Pathaan, also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, will be released on January 25, 2023 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Khan will also have a cameo in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3.
