Internet sensation Nochipatti Thirumoorthi's video where he sang Kamal Haasan's Pathala Pathala song from Vikram had gone viral on the internet. Later, the visually challenged singer got the opportunity to meet the Ulaganayagan himself. A video of their meeting did the rounds on the internet. In the video, Thirumoorthi is seen saying that he wanted to take a picture with the Kamal Haasan at an awards ceremony, but it didn't happen.
Thirumoorthi later sang Pathala Pathala using a plastic bucket as an instrument, . Thirumoorthi then told him that he wants to learn music formally and Kamal Haasan said that he would enroll him in AR Rahman's KM Music Conservatory. Now, the singer has shared a music video and thanked Kamal Haasan for his gesture. He also thanked composer Imman, who has been a huge pillar of support to the singer. He wrote on his social media page, "The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched ,they must be felt with the heart… thankq @ikamalhaasan sir 😊♥️for the love and kindness which makes difference in my life✨@KMMC_Chennai I thank @immancomposer sir♥️ a pure soul who enjoys all my milestones☺️ (sic)."
Imman appreciated the singer saying that he would constantly encourage him. He wrote, "Keep scaling high! Always i will be a happy and an encouraging man behind you 👍 (sic)."
After seeing a few videos of Thirumoorthi on social media, D Imman had called the singer and made him sing the song Sevanthiye in Seeru. Thirumoorthi then went on to sing Vaa Saamy in Superstar Rajinikanth's Annaatthe, which also had music by Imman. After Thirumoorthi's meeting with Kamal Haasan, Imman had tweeted, "Music composer D Imman, who introduced Thirumoorthy into the film industry with a song in Jiiva's Seeru, immediately thanked Kamal Haasan for his support. He wrote on his social media page, "I’m so elated with all the proceedings of Singer Thirumoorthi! May you Rise Higher and Higher! I will be always a happy man adoring your baby steps towards Mighty Achievements! Thanks to Kamal Sir for your kind support! (sic)."
