Vijay Deverakonda has completed the filming of Liger, directed by Puri Jagannadh. The actor was so impressed by the filmmaker's work that he decided to collaborate with him again. There are rumours that Puri altered the script for his acclaimed project, Janaganamana, which Vijay liked.
The film's script is finished, and production will begin shortly. An official announcement regarding the project will be made tomorrow at 2:20 p.m.
Vijay shared a poster on his social media pages which features a fighter plane and mentioned that more details will be out on March 29, 2022.
More information about the cast and crew will be released after the project is unveiled tomorrow. Many years ago, Puri Jagannadh wrote Janaganamana, a patriotic film. He had hoped to helm Mahesh Babu in the film, but it did not happen.
After completing the filming of Liger, Vijay Deverakonda shaved off his hair, and his new appearance is currently being developed. Janhvi Kapoor is rumoured to be playing the leading lady in this flick.
Meanwhile, Puri Jagannadh wrote and directed the sports action film Liger, which was produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Jagannadh under the umbrellas of Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday appear in the film, which also has Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishna in minor parts. With this film, Mike Tyson will make his acting debut in Indian cinema.
The film will be released in Telugu and Hindi concurrently on August 25, 2022, as well as dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film was supposed to be released in November 2020, but it was postponed because of the COVID-19 epidemic. The film was then set to premiere on September 9, 2021, but was once again postponed owing to the epidemic.
