Prabhas starts filming with Amitabh Bachchan for Project K, calls it dream come true

Project K has already captured the attention of movie fans from across states because of its star cast featuring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. Prabhas has now completed his first shot with the legendary veteran actor. 

Sharing his excitement with the fans, Prabhas shared a photo of Bachchan from his 1975 hit Deewar on Instagram. “This is a dream come true for me. Completed the first shot of #ProjectK today with the legendary @amitabhbachchan Sir!”, wrote the actor in the post. 

With the photo featuring a young Bachchan sitting on a chair, fully suited and with a certain intensity in his face, one could expect Bachchan to portray a fiery role in the movie, while no information about this is currently available. 

The movie, which is touted to be a sci-fi thriller, will also be the first time leading lady Deepika Padukone is working with the South Indian star. The two had previously shared pictures from the sets of the movie, during the first schedule of filming. A report by Pinkvilla suggests that the actor has now returned to the sets of this sci-fi thriller for the latest schedule of the project, which is taking place in Hyderabad.

Nag Ashwin, who is the director of the project had earlier said that Padukone’s role in the movie is something no mainstream lead has done before and will be quite a surprise for everyone. 

Prabhas, who was last seen in the 2019 action thriller Saaho, is currently waiting for the release of Radha Krishna Kumar’s period romantic drama Radhe Shyam co-starring Pooja Hegde. He is also working on Salaar and Adipurush.

Bachchan on the other hand was last seen in Rumy Jafery’s mystery thriller Chehre, co-starring Emraan Hashmi in the lead. The veteran actor is also working on other projects such as Runway 34 and Jhund.
