Thalapathy66 also marks Rashmika Mandanna's second film in Tamil after her debut in Sulthan opposite Karthi last year.
Cinematography for the film is by Kharthik Phalani and editing is by Praveen KL Prabhu. The buzz is that the first look of the film will be announced on the birthday of actor Vijay on June 22. The shoot kickstarted in Chennai with the first schedule being canned there. Thalapathy 66 is touted to release on Pongal 2023 and fans are eagerly looking forward to the same.
