Pramod and Pruthvi Ambaar led Bhuvanam Gaganam set for UAE premiere

Kannada audiences in the UAE are in for a treat as the team of the upcoming family drama Bhuvanam Gaganam is bringing their film there for its international premiere. Directed by Girish Mulimani, Bhuvanam Gaganam is a Valentine’s Day release back home, but fans in Dubai and Abu Dhabi can see it a good 2 weeks early.

The team, led by actors Pramod, Pruthvi Ambaar, Rachel David, etc., will be in Abu Dhabi and Dubai for the international premieres. On February 1, at 8 pm, Bhuvanam Gaganam will have its first show at the Al Wahda Mall in Abu Dhabi, followed by a 5 pm show at the Al Ghurair Mall in Dubai on February 2.

The team has not revealed much about the film so far, with Pramod saying that he took it up because it gave him a full-fledged romantic film for the first time. He is paired with Love Mocktail 2 fame Rachel. Pruthvi, meanwhile, plays a character with learning difficulties, and is paired with Ponnu Ashwathi. Pruthvi’s character has Dustin Hoffman’s Rain Man vibes, if the teaser is anything to go by. While the romantic tracks are important plot points, the relationship and bond between the characters played by Pramod and Pruthvi and the journey they undertake is the central crux.

Director Girish has been quoted as saying that Bhuvanam Gaganam is a family drama, the story of whichunfolds on two tracks – in terms of the journeys of the characters played by Pramod and Pruthvi. What happens when the twain meet is the highlight of the film.

Also on the cast of the film are actors like Achyuth Kumar, Sharath Lohithashwa, Prakash Tumminadu, Siddlingu Shreedhar, Harini, Sparsha Rekha, Prajwal Shetty, and Chetan Durga, among others. Girish is credited with the story and screenplay as well, while Munegowda is the producer.
