Nick Jonas is elated and excited as his Monday blues were replaced by happiness, all thanks to his first production venture Dash and Lily that bagged nominations in 10 Daytime Emmy categories. The Jonas Brothers singer took to social media to express his excitement.
To celebrate the big announcement, the singer shared a poster of Dash and Lily on his social media handle and wrote in the caption, "Wow, absolutely blown away by this incredible news 12 Emmy noms for #DashAndLily!! Loved getting to produce this project with such an amazing team! So proud of everyone! Let’s go!! @Netflix @JoshBarryLA @slevydirect."
Celebrating her beau's success, actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas also shared the same story on her social media handle and wrote, "So proud @nickjonas."
The musician's first foray into production, Dash and Lily, that he executive produced with five others, is a Netflix original holiday series. Inspired by a book by the same name written by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn, the story revolves around the blooming romance between two polar opposites, Dash and Lily as they trade dreams, dares and desires through notebooks. Opening up to mixed reviews, the show was able to find a fanbase of its own, even getting renewed for a second season.
The show starring Austin Abrams, Midori Francis, Keana Marie and Glen McCuen is available to stream on Netflix.
