Looks like the dreams of movie buffs, who desired to see actors Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt together on the big screen, have been shattered. The three Bollywood superstars were expected to feature together in Farhan Akhtar’s movie, Jee Le Zaraa.

Fresh reports by multiple news portals suggest that Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif have opted out of the film as they are unavailable on the expected shooting schedules of the film. With this development, the makers of the film have approached actors Kiara Advani and Anushka Sharma for the film and are trying to ascertain whether they will be ready to work in the film.

News portal Filmfare says, “Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Katrina Kaif have reportedly opted out of the film. There are talks with Anushka Sharma and Kiara Advani now being considered for the film.”

News portal HT City tweets, “@priyankachopra has exited @aliaa08 & Katrina Kaif's Jee Le Zaraa due to clash in schedules. @AnushkaSharma or @advani_kiara could replace PC.”

Reddit page ‘Bolly Blinds N Gossip’ took to the social media platform and shared the news of Priyanka Chopra walking out of Jee Le Zaraa.

With this development, it is uncertain whether the movie will be made anytime soon.

Some movie buffs are even suggesting the makers of the film to cast Deepika Padukone in the titular role. Commenting on the Reddit page, a social media user said, “Just cast Deepika. She will complete the trio.”

These developments come just months after Priyanka Chopra arrived in India to promote her web series, Citadel. During the promotions, the Citadel actress told news portal Pinkvilla, “I think everybody wants to know that. I don’t know. I feel Alia, Katrina and I – all three of us are in the busiest phases of our lives, but I am hoping it happens next year. That’s the aim.”

Only time will tell what the future holds for the movie.
